We all know Beasts love tacos. We also love running. So why not combine the two and have some fun! With that said let me introduce to you the...
Beast OCR Taco Mile
This virtual race takes place wherever you and your tacos are. Run in a park, around your block or on an actual race track, it's all up to you. Just remember to be safe! The total distance for this race is 1 mile.
Rules
The definition/rules of a Taco Mile are as follows:
For every 1/4th of a mile you eat a taco while not moving and when the taco has been completed, you run for 1/4th of a mile. Run or Eat first, as long as you are consistent you are not breaking any rules.
Repeat step 1 three times until you have completed a mile.
The clock stops as soon as you finish your fourth and final taco.
Those are the rules. It's pretty simple. Water is allowed, the type of taco is up to you, hard shell, soft shell, wrapped in lettuce or a mixture. Each shell type has their own set of issues, so choose wisely!
Categories
Aside from the main leader-board and male/female categories, there will be four categories you can submit your time with, hard shell tacos, soft shell tacos, lettuce wrapped or a mixture of the shells. There are also three race types: running, walking and biking.
Once registered and paid for the event, you can do the virtual race as many times as you like in as many categories as you like. No matter how many times you run the race, your best time will be shown per category (shell and race type).
